FIAlab Instruments is a privately held company founded in 1987 (then named Alitea USA), serving initially as a distributor of Alitea AB's peristaltic pumps and accessories. It soon became apparent that there was a demand for complete flow injection systems. Therefore, in 1988 Alitea Instruments introduced two FIA systems; an educational non-computer based low cost instrument, and a computer based, high end instrument.
Although limited by the state of technology of the late eighties, the early models of our instruments are still in use by some of our customers. Since then, FIAlab Instruments has continuously upgraded the instrument line and introduced new systems for laboratory and industrial process control under the trademark FIAlab®.
Innovative technology, top quality components, and the highest level of expertise make FIAlab systems the most advanced, precise, compact and economical instruments available. We provide solutions to customer problems, including consultations and custom built systems. We are committed to a high level of customer service including troubleshooting and timely service.

Sales and Distribution
We sell instruments directly throughout the world and provide e-mail and Skype based service and training. FIAlab Instruments uses a world wide distribution network dedicated to sales, training, and maintenance of our FIA/SIA systems and associated components. This network currently covers much of Asia, Europe, North and South America, Australia, New Zealand, Africa and the Middle East.
Why the Name Change?
Our old customers have known our company as Alitea USA. Alitea USA began in 1987 as a distributor of Swedish-made Alitea peristaltic pumps. We soon expanded into our own line of Flow Injection Analysis instruments, which we have produced since 1989 under our trademark FIAlab. The FIAlab line has grown to include SIA systems, HPLC systems, online processors, many unique flow cells, sample changers and pumps. We still sell Alitea peristaltic pumps (from Watson-Marlow Alitea), since they are the most reliable ones on the market.
The name FIAlab Instruments®, Inc. expresses our commitment to this product line. Except for the name change and a move to a new and larger facility, the company remains the same.
